These trips brought him back to the wild and unspoiled lands of County Leitrim in Ireland at Drumshanbo. It is in this small town that Rigney begins to manipulate the oriental traditions of the distillation of fruits, herbs and aromatic plants.

PJ Rigney created The Shed distillery in 2014. To distill his gin, he uses medieval copper stills and fuses his oriental botanicals discovered during his travels with herbs from Irish lands.
