Infusion Damman Frères
Herbal tea or infusion?
Herbal tea and infusion are the same thing! It's a preparation based on caffeine-free plants and water. In the water, the various active principles of the plants are diffused. Infusions have many benefits, depending on the plants chosen.
The different types of infusion
- Single-variety infusions: These contain just one variety of plant. These infusions allow you to experience every property and ingredient of the herbal tea. Most are linden, chamomile, lemon verbena or rooibos.
- Well-being blends: These infusions, made from medicinal plants and roots with active principles, provide numerous benefits for the human body.
- Gourmet blends: flower and fruit infusions offer a wide range of tastes.
The benefits of infusions
- Minerals and trace elements: Source of iron, magnesium, potassium, copper, zinc...
- Vitamin C: Present in cold infusions!
- Antioxidants: Rich in flavonoids, hibiscus and rooibos have real draining virtues.
- Digestion: Relieve stomach aches with licorice, peppermint and turmeric.
- Natural defenses: Ginger and acerola boost the immune system.
- Anxiety: Anti-stress effect thanks to lemon balm, passionflower, orange blossom or lime blossom.
- Hydration: The ally against dry skin? Chamomile.
Tasting
You can drink 2 to 3 cups a day, but never more than a liter! Brew your infusion for 3 to 5 minutes in water at 90° in your best teapot or teaware. After all, there's a whole protocol for enjoying your tea.
