Glenfiddich 18 Year Old is a refined Speyside single malt that showcases the expertise of one of Scotland's most celebrated distilleries. Matured for at least eighteen years in a combination of American oak bourbon casks and Oloroso sherry casks, it develops remarkable depth, balance and elegance. Each small batch is carefully married to ensure consistency while preserving the character of the whisky.
The nose opens with rich aromas of ripe orchard fruits, baked apple, dried fruit, caramel and gentle oak spice. The palate is smooth and layered with notes of honey, vanilla, candied fruit, toasted almonds and cinnamon supported by well integrated oak. The finish is long, warming and beautifully balanced with lingering dried fruit, soft spices and refined wood notes. It is an elegant single malt that perfectly reflects the style of Speyside.
