Glenfiddich 1995 20 Year Old 1st Fill Sherry Cask No. 30318 is an exceptional single malt released exclusively for the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival 2015. Distilled in 1995 and matured for twenty years in a single first-fill sherry cask, it was bottled in 2015 at its natural cask strength of 57.8% ABV. Drawn from Cask No. 30318 and limited to 250 bottles, it is one of Glenfiddich's rarest official single cask releases. Bottled with natural colour and without chill filtration, it perfectly combines Glenfiddich's elegant fruitiness with the richness of first-fill sherry oak.
The nose reveals raisins, figs, dates, orange marmalade, honey and dark chocolate layered with leather, cinnamon and mature oak. The palate is rich and oily with dark caramel, candied fruits, espresso, roasted nuts, cocoa and gentle spices. The finish is exceptionally long with lingering dried fruits, dark chocolate, polished oak and warming spices.
