Dingle Single Malt is the flagship whiskey of Dingle Distillery, located on Ireland's rugged south-west coast. Crafted in small batches from malted barley and distilled in traditional copper pot stills, it is matured in a combination of first-fill bourbon barrels and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. This maturation creates a whiskey that balances fruit, sweetness and gentle spice while showcasing the distillery's artisanal approach.
The nose reveals aromas of ripe apple, pear, honey, raisins, vanilla and caramel, complemented by citrus zest and soft spices. The palate is rich and silky with flavours of orchard fruits, milk chocolate, roasted nuts, cinnamon and lightly toasted oak. The finish is long, elegant and warming with lingering dried fruits, vanilla and delicate spices. It is an excellent introduction to the distinctive style of Dingle whiskey.
