Kavalan Triple Sherry Cask is a Taiwanese single malt showcasing the distillery's expertise in sherry cask maturation. It is crafted from a marriage of whiskies matured in three different sherry casks: Oloroso, Pedro Ximénez and Moscatel. This combination creates exceptional richness, bringing together dried fruits, candied fruit and warm spices in perfect balance. Matured in Taiwan's subtropical climate, the whisky develops remarkable depth despite carrying no age statement. Bottled at 40% ABV, it delivers a rich, smooth and elegant drinking experience.
The nose reveals aromas of raisins, figs, prunes, honey and orange marmalade, layered with dark chocolate, caramel and sweet spices. The palate is smooth and full with dates, candied fruit, cocoa, roasted nuts, cinnamon and vanilla. The finish is long and satisfying with lingering dried fruits, toasted oak, gentle spices and refined sherry sweetness.
