Boann Legacy is an Irish Single Pot Still whiskey that reflects Boann Distillery’s desire to reinterpret the great Irish whiskey tradition through a modern approach. This expression pays tribute to the generations of farmers, coopers and distillers who have helped shape the identity of Irish whiskey.
Its distinctive character comes from a marriage of seven different cask types. The whiskey draws influence from Bourbon, Oloroso, Pedro Ximénez, Palo Cortado, Amontillado, Moscatel and French oak casks. This ambitious combination creates several layers of character while preserving the balance associated with the Single Pot Still style.
