Bishops Finger 50cl 5.4°

Brewery : Shepherd Neame / Country : England / Reference: : 20977

Bishops Finger takes its name from the signs that pointed the way for pilgrims on their way to see the tomb of Thomas Becket, the holy bishop of Canterbury. It was also the first strong ale to be brewed by Shepherd Neame, one of England's oldest breweries, after malt rationing in the late 1950s. Created in 1958, it is one of the oldest bottled beers.

Bishops Finger holds EU Protected Geographical Indication, certifying its origin and quality. Subject to a special charter, this beer can only be brewed on Fridays and must be made using only natural ingredients: hops and barley from Kent and mineral water from the artesian well at the Shepherd Neame brewery.
