This Kornog Oloroso 2021 edition whisky was "born by fire, raised by the wind", as its bottle displays. It is indeed a peated whisky, produced at the Glann Ar Mor distillery in the north of the Brittany coast.
Aged for seven years in Oloroso Sherry casks, it is imbued with the sweetness and power of Andalusia, and delivers an elegant peat that coexists with fruity notes.
This Single Cask in limited edition comes from a double distillation in pot still, it was bottled in its natural colour and without chill-filtration to preserve all its flavours.

Glann Ar Mor means "next to the sea" in Breton language. In 1999, Martine and Jean Donnay chose this authentic marine environment for their distillery. This geographical location has an important role in the aging process of these breton whiskies: the temperature, humidity and the maritime climate.
