Kavalan Sherry Cask is a rich and fruity Single Malt distilled with spring water from the mountains of "Hsuehshan" (mountains of snow) and aged in Oloroso sherry casks.
This expression comes from the Solist range, a collection of the best bottlings of the distillery made raw barrel, without reduction, cold filtration or addition of colour.
With its 6-year maturation in a hot, humid subtropical climate, Kavalan Sherry Cask has the character of a much older Speyside whisky with rich, exotic and complex notes. He was voted Best Rest of the World Single Malt at the 2011 World Whiskey Awards.

The Single Cask Kavalan has quiclky stood out and won a lot of awards. In 2016, The IWC designated Kavalan as "Whisky Producer of the Year" and in 2017 "Distillery of the year".
