The Enmore distillery, based in British Guiana, was attached to the sugar refinery of the same name. Founded by Edward Henri Potter in the early 19th century, his initials E.H.P. were then affixed to the barrels from the Enmore cellars. In 1993, when the distillery closed, the Enmore wooden double distillation column was transferred to the Diamond Distillery, along with all other stills of the country.
This unique wooden column dates back to 1880 and remains the only column in the world of this type still in operation.
Silver Seal is an independent Italian trader and bottler. Its selections are rigorous, among the best rums of the Caribbean.
