Single Malt aged in Sherry casks featuring an altruistic peat that forms the backdrop for a very complex aromatic and taste palette.
Aromatic profile: peaty and floral with smoky and toasted notes, heady flowers, red fruits, iodine and spices.

First distillery built on Islay, 125 years ago, Kilchoman has been built as a “farm-distillery” and grows its own barley.
About 100 tons are harvested and malted at the distillery, 30% of the distillery’s needs. The rest is supplied by the Port Ellen malt-house. It is also part of the 6 last distilleries operating with traditional malting processes. In 2009, Kilchoman crafted its first recognized Single Malt. Kilchoman is one of the smallest distilleries of Scotland with an annual production of about 100.000 liters.
