Distilled in 1997, this Single Cask reveals the best of the Scottish Arran distillery.

With a long ageing of 25 years in Hogshead sherry refill barrels, it develops bright fruity and malty aromas, which contrast with floral, spicy and honeycomb notes, all enhanced by a beautiful peat.

A limited edition produced at 239 bottles.

Arran is the only distillery located on the Isle of Arran, Scotland. It has been established in 1995 in Lochranza.

Arran has been a part of the world of whisky for a long time. In the mid 18^th century, the island had nearly fifty distilleries (most of them illegal or “moonlight” distilleries), but they all have closed since then. The new distillery opened in 1995 and renewed the tradition of Arran. The spirit produced on Arran received the “whisky” label in 1998.

Nose: rich, peaty and mineral at first before giving way to honey, exotic fruits and herbaceous notes.

Mouth: bright, peat and malt mingle with exotic fruits and spices (pepper, cloves) with a hint of chocolate.

Finish: long and rich, well-balanced between herbaceous, fruity and smoky notes.
