An 18-year-old Speyside single malt matured in Oloroso sherry casks with dried fruit, cocoa, orange marmalade, coffee and spice.
Tamdhu 18 Year Old is an outstanding single malt that perfectly reflects the distillery's dedication to full sherry cask maturation. Matured exclusively for eighteen years in carefully selected American and European oak Oloroso sherry casks, it develops remarkable depth, elegance and complexity. Bottled at 46.8% ABV, non-chill filtered and with its natural colour, it delivers an authentic and refined Speyside experience.
The nose opens with rich aromas of raisins, figs, dates, orange marmalade, vanilla and dark chocolate, complemented by cinnamon, nutmeg and polished oak. The palate is rich and velvety with flavours of candied fruits, caramel, roasted hazelnuts, coffee, cocoa and gentle spices. The finish is long, elegant and beautifully balanced with lingering dried fruit, fine leather, cocoa and toasted oak.
