Penderyn Serpent's Tears is a limited edition Welsh single malt inspired by the Celtic legends of Wales. Crafted by Penderyn Distillery, it is matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks, creating a whisky that perfectly balances fruity freshness, sweetness and elegant oak influence. Bottled at 46% ABV without chill filtration, it showcases the refined character for which Penderyn is renowned.
The nose opens with aromas of ripe apple, pear, honey, vanilla and citrus, complemented by raisins and gentle spices. The palate is smooth and generous with flavours of caramel, yellow fruits, almonds, white chocolate and lightly toasted oak. The finish is long, balanced and delicately spiced with lingering ripe fruit, vanilla and honey.
