Switzerland in brief

Switzerland is a federal state made up of 26 cantons where four languages coexist: German (the most widely spoken), French, Italian and Romansh. Between its mountain ranges and its hills, its rivers and its lakes, Switzerland is full of landscapes, each more different and breathtaking than the next. Although not very large, its position in the heart of Europe gives it a strong influence. Switzerland is particularly famous for its know-how in watchmaking, for its music (with the famous "yodelling"), but also and above all for its chocolate and cheese. Chocolate lovers will also be delighted to taste Cadbury English chocolates that can be found in our fine food department.

If countries like Ireland, Germany or Belgium are considered big names in the world of beer, Switzerland is not to be outdone with an average of one brewery per inhabitant! Swiss friends, don't hesitate to take a look at our selection of beers and let yourself be surprised by beers from all over the world...
