Mackays Competition Rules

"MACKAYS COMPETITION – LE COMPTOIR IRLANDAIS"

Art. 1: ORGANIZATION

The company LE COMPTOIR IRLANDAIS, a Simplified Joint Stock Company with a share capital of €764,064, whose registered office is located at Zone Industrielle de Saint Eloi – 16 rue des Glénan – 29800 PLOUEDERN, registered with the Brest Trade and Companies Register under number B 385 246 640, is organizing an online competition via its website accessible at www.comptoir-irlandais.com, free of charge and with no obligation to purchase.

The competition starts on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at 00:00 and ends on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at 23:59 (Paris time).

The prize draw will take place on Wednesday, May 13, 2026. Winners will be selected from valid entries and will be notified by email no later than Monday, May 18, 2026.

Art. 2: CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

Participation in the competition implies full, unconditional acceptance of these rules, governed by French law.

The competition is open to any adult individual residing in the European Union or Switzerland.

Only one entry per person (same name, same email address) is allowed during the entire competition period.

Only one prize may be awarded per household.

Employees, officers, and representatives of the organizing company, its affiliates, and any persons involved in organizing the competition, as well as their family members, are not eligible to participate.

LE COMPTOIR IRLANDAIS reserves the right to request proof of eligibility. Any participant who does not meet the conditions or refuses to justify them will be excluded.

Art. 3: GAME PRINCIPLE

Each participant acknowledges having read and accepted the full rules.

To participate, users must complete the registration form available on the website: www.comptoir-irlandais.com.

A prize draw will take place on May 13, 2026 to select winners among eligible participants.

LE COMPTOIR IRLANDAIS reserves the right to modify the draw date if necessary.

Any attempt to register multiple entries using different email addresses will be considered fraud and will result in disqualification.

Art. 4: REGISTRATION TERMS

Participants must register via the form available at: https://www.comptoir-irlandais.com/fr/content/311-concours-mackays

Failure to comply with participation conditions will result in disqualification.

This competition is promoted on social media but is neither managed nor sponsored by these platforms.

Art. 5: PRIZES

Participants can win one of five (5) prizes: a Mackays gift set including 8 jars of artisanal jams and marmalades, a Mackays jute bag, and a Mackays butter/jam knife.

Each set includes:

- 1 caramelized red onion chilli marmalade – 225g

- 1 sweet chilli jam – 235g

- 1 lemon curd spread – 340g

- 1 Dundee orange marmalade – 340g

- 1 vintage Dundee orange marmalade (brown sugar) – 340g

- 1 orange & whisky marmalade – 340g

- 1 mini strawberry jam – 28g

- 1 mini raspberry jam – 28g

- 1 Mackays jam knife

- 1 Mackays jute bag

Unit value: €26.55 incl. VAT

Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other items.

If delivery is impossible, an equivalent prize may be offered.

Winners must confirm their postal address within 15 days, otherwise the prize will be forfeited.

Art. 6: PARTICIPATION COSTS

Participation is free and does not incur any additional costs. No reimbursement will be provided.

Art. 7: PUBLICITY

The organizer may publish the winner’s first name, initial of last name, and possibly their photo, subject to prior consent.

Art. 8: DATA PROTECTION

Personal data collected is processed by LE COMPTOIR IRLANDAIS for managing the competition and awarding prizes.

Processing is based on participant consent.

Data is retained for the duration of the competition and up to 3 months after.

Participants have rights of access, rectification, deletion, restriction and objection.

Participants may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL.

Art. 9: CORRESPONDENCE

Incomplete or illegible submissions will not be processed.

Art. 10: LIABILITY

The organizer cannot be held liable in case of force majeure, technical issues, or internet-related problems.

Art. 11: ACCEPTANCE OF RULES

Participation implies full acceptance of these rules.

Art. 12: MODIFICATIONS

The organizer reserves the right to modify these rules at any time.

Art. 13: COMPLIANCE

Any fraudulent behavior will result in exclusion.

Art. 14: INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All trademarks and content remain the property of their respective owners.

Art. 15: DISPUTES

French law applies. Any dispute will be subject to French courts after an attempt at amicable resolution.
