Gauloise Nectar, also known as Nectar des Druides, is part of the great tradition of French herbal liqueurs. It is now produced by the Distillerie du Centre in Limoges. Master liqueur maker Pierre Nouhaud carefully selects angelica, St. John's wort, saffron, cardamom, génépi and other secret ingredients. The plants are distilled twice over a wood fire, using traditional methods that preserve their full aromatic intensity. Created in 2023 to celebrate La Gauloise's 240th anniversary, Nectar des Druides is a blend of Gauloise Verte and Jaune, part of which has been aged in barrels. The result is a rich, harmonious and deep liqueur, combining vegetal freshness, spicy sweetness and beautiful complexity.
