Dean's Cheddar Biscuits 100g

It was in her kitchen that Helen prepared her delicious traditional shortbread. Her friends and family loved the "melt-in-the-mouth" feel of these cookies. Her husband Bill, who played the drum, found them so delicious that he decided to sell his wife's shortbread to raise money for the local pipe band in Huntly.

The touring of this group helped to spread the reputation of these shortbread and Helen created her first small bakery to meet the demand.

These shortbread became so popular that in 1992 Dean's moved to a new, purpose-built bakery in the suburb of Huntly.

Today, Dean's is still a family business, priding itself on using in-house manufacturing methods. The company is also recognized for its "premium" quality Scottish shortbread.
