This agricultural rum from a blend has aged 7 years in Bourbon barrels then 3 additional years in Cognac barrels, that is an ageing of 10 long years in the unique cellars of the Carrère distillery in Guadeloupe.

Bottled cask strength at 45.3° in July 2021, it develops grilled and smoky notes characteristic of Montebello due to their ageing method which allows greater aromatic extraction.

This expression is produced in a limited series of 2000 copies with numbered bottles.

Nose: citrus and cocoa notes enhanced by empyreumatic aromas emblematic of the Montebello identity.

Palate : ample and fine, pastry notes, spices and citrus (grapefruit).

Finish: long and oaky, with notes influenced by Cognac.
