Loch Lomond unveils their 45-year-old Single Malt, the first of three bottlings in The Remarkable Still series, created to spotlight the Scottish distillery's innovative straight neck pot stills.

This exceptional whisky is distilled in 1973 then aged in American oak barrels for 44 long years before being finished for an additional year in first fill Oloroso Sherry casks.

Bottled at 42.2% and not chill-filtered, this Single Malt develops a floral aromatic profile marked by aromas of orange blossom and honeysuckle, but also fruity with intense tropical notes of melon, kiwi and citrus. All warmed up with a few spices. It perfectly represents the characteristic fruity style of Loch Lomond which will delight connoisseurs.

The Loch Lomond 45 years old is presented in an elegant bottle with an engraved copper plaque and contained in an oak wooden box whose design reflects straight neck pot stills.

Only 200 individually numbered bottles were produced, making it one of the rarest Loch Lomond expressions to date.
