As a special gift box, The Famous Grouse becomes The Famous Dad!

A Scotland number one, The Famous Grouse is a luxury blend taking its name from the willow ptarmigan (Lagopus lagopus scoticus), the national bird of Scotland.

Matured in the Highlands, The Famous Grouse is composed of The Macallan, Bunnahabhain, Highland Park, Tamdhu Single Malts and exceptional grain whiskies. Thanks to the amazing know-how and craftmanship of Matthew Gload & Sons, a family-run business founded in 1800, The Famous Grouse is a standalone blend. The extremely long maturation in oak casks allows for a perfect combination of the different expressions.

The mellow mouth is marked by a slight note of peat. The finale of average length is warm, with characteristic notes of dried fruits, vanilla, spices and citrus fruits.

The Famous Grouse whisky has been originally created for Victorian gentlemen, coming to the region of Perth in 1896.

The Famous Grouse is one of the rare blends to be entirely elaborated, blended and bottled in the Highlands with all of the unique craft knowledge of the Gloag family, established in 1800.

The whisky is blended and then matured for another six months in oak casks, to mingle all of its flavours and aromas. This “marriage” imparts subtlety, smoothness and body to the Famous Grouse whisky.
