Annabel Thomas is the distiller at Nc Nean; she is a pioneer in this very masculine industry. It is also one of the first to achieve 0% CO2 emissions in the UK. Always in search of renewal, the distiller experiments with new yeasts and ageing processes that differ from the standards of what is called “Scotch” in order to find a whiskey that is both smooth and very aromatic.

This 2023 edition is the second expression of the Huntress series which highlights the search for discovery inspired by Gaelic legends and the goddess of wild animals, hills, rivers and the moon: the huntress Neacheohain.

Revealed each spring, this expression is more focused on forest fruits with aromas of creamy caramel and herbal spices.

This Single Malt is made from organic Scottish barley only and red and white wine yeasts before being aged in first fill ex-Bourbon barrels then in STR red wine barrels ("Sanded, Toasted and Re-burnt").

Only 150 bottles available for the French market.
