Loch Lomond 12 Years Old 70cl 46°
This Single Malt has aged 80% in second-fill Bourbon casks and 20% in re-burnt Bourbon casks. This technique is an aroma enhancer that allows to bring more intense and rich aromas.
The Loch Lomond team has also used yeast usually used for the fermentation of Sauvignon Blanc, which gives delicately fruity and very atypical aromas. The Single Malt is non chill-filtered to preserve all the aromas of ripening.
Loch Lomond 12 years old has received international recognition, notably with its gold medal at the prestigious San Francisco Worlds Spirits Competition 2016.
This whisky is perfect with dry ham.

Founded in 1965 in an old dyeing facility, Loch Lomond took over the name of its predecessor located on the other side of the Loch, in Arrochar, and which closed in 1817. As the Loch Lomond distillery closed in 1984, it could only reopen in 1985 as the Bulloch family bought it back to deal with shortages in their Glen Catrine company.
The distillery has the specificity, unique to Scotland, to produce malt whisky and grain whisky on the same site.
