The Aberfeldy distillery is located in the southern part of the Highlands (Perthshire).

Aberfeldy was founded in 1898 by the Dewar family, and is located in the Highland region. The distillery uses water from Pitilie Burn which is famous for its alluvial gold deposits.

Aberfeldy proceeds to a long fermentation of 70 hours allowing a greater development of the aromas, in particular that of honey. In addition, the use of large copper stills with their specific heights and shapes gives the whiskey its delicate and elegant character.

The Aberfeldy whiskey is very firm and reveals ample notes of cereals and fruit. This is the most potent of the Central Highlands malts.

Nose: light, cereals and notes of candied pineapple, hint of honey.

Palate: generous and robust.

Finish: spicy, hints of bitter orange.

Silver medal, World Whiskies Awards 2023.

Double gold medal at the World Spirits Competition in San Francisco 2021.
