Ardara Highly is an Irish whiskey inspired by the rich whiskey making heritage of County Donegal, where lightly smoky whiskeys were once a regional specialty. Produced by Sliabh Liag Distillers, it revives this traditional style by combining carefully selected grains with gentle peat smoke, creating a whiskey that is both distinctive and approachable.
The nose opens with orchard fruit, honey, vanilla and biscuit aromas followed by soft peat smoke and subtle black pepper. The palate is smooth and well balanced with flavours of malt, citrus, caramel and gentle spices supported by elegant smoky notes.
