Kilchoman 100% Islay 12th Edition 70cl 50°
Kilchoman 100% Islay 12th Edition is a Single Malt made entirely on the island of Islay.
All of its manufacturing steps take place on the Kilchoman farm site: the barley is grown and malted there, the whiskey distilled, matured and bottled directly at the distillery.
This twelfth edition aged in Bourbon and Sherry Oloroso casks for 8 years is a fresh, iodized and slightly peated whiskey (20 ppm). It develops smoky citrus notes on a long peaty and marine finish.

First distillery built on Islay, 125 years ago, Kilchoman has been built as a “farm-distillery” and grows its own barley.
About 100 tons are harvested and malted at the distillery, 30% of the distillery’s needs. The rest is supplied by the Port Ellen malt-house. It is also part of the 6 last distilleries operating with traditional malting processes. In 2009, Kilchoman crafted its first recognized Single Malt. Kilchoman is one of the smallest distilleries of Scotland with an annual production of about 100.000 liters.
