Bruichladdich Black Art 10.1 70cl 45.1°
Authentic, Bruichladdich is the only distillery in Islay to bottle its whisky on the island itself. Far from chemical formulas or industrial processes, the reputation of Bruichladdich is based in particular on the know-how of its teams.
10th edition of a cult and unique series, Bruichladdich Black Art edition 10.1 is a 1993 vintage whisky made on the island of Islay from 100% Scottish barley and Islay spring water.
Unpeated, it was bottled in its natural colour and without chill filtration in order to preserve the natural essential oils that give the spirit its complex and unctuous taste.
Bottled in 2022, this 29-year-old whisky is available in a limited edition.

Established in 1881, this Islay distillery faces Bowmore on the other side of the Loch Indaal.
In the past, it produced the less peated and lightest malts of the island, due to its four long-necked stills. As it almost disappeared in 1995, it was purchased by a group of investors who trusted Jim McEwan (former Bowmore employee) with the responsibility over distillation and blending. Since then, it has been a feast of fascinating novelties and releases…
A rare fact in Scotland, the Bruichladdich distillery (“Bruk-ladie”) uses a brewing vat in open air. Its onion-shaped stills have a very flat bottom and a long neck. The very light peated Bruichladdich Single Malt is unfairly underestimated. It reveals indeed a maritime origin with an iodized nose and a salty mouth flavour. Longer maturation imparts a full body to the whisky and makes it a gourmet, elegant malt. Bruichladdich is also perfect when aged in sherry casks.
The distillery produces also two heavily peated whiskies: Port Charlotte and Octomore.
