Port Askaig Nouvelle Vague 70cl 56.8°
This new Port Askaig Nouvelle Vague comes from the Caol Ila distillery, a new complex and gourmet expression.
Composed of three American Hogshead barrels distilled in 2012 and a new oak barrel distilled in 2010, this whisky is an exclusive experimentation by Oliver Chilton, master blender of Elixir Distillers.
Inspired by the Nouvelle Vague, the movement of the 60s that revolutionized the French film industry, Port Askaig Nouvelle Vague is distinguished by the use of a new oak barrel, giving the peated malt a remarkable richness and greediness.
A unique and original character for Port Askaig, with ample supple notes of peat, chocolate and caramel.
