Kilchoman Sanaig 70cl 46°
Kilchoman Sanaig pays a tribute to the wild and stunning Islay landscape, and has been named after a seaward-facing, rocky inlet located north off the distillery.
This expression is a combination of 30% Bourbon barrels and 70% Sherry casks. Revealing the deep, refreshing profile of the peat, with lovely notes of fruit compote and marmelade, Kilchoman Sanaig is quite well balanced, appealing, truly living to its rank of new permanent edition of the distillery.

First distillery built on Islay, 125 years ago, Kilchoman has been built as a “farm-distillery” and grows its own barley.
About 100 tons are harvested and malted at the distillery, 30% of the distillery’s needs. The rest is supplied by the Port Ellen malt-house. It is also part of the 6 last distilleries operating with traditional malting processes. In 2009, Kilchoman crafted its first recognized Single Malt. Kilchoman is one of the smallest distilleries of Scotland with an annual production of about 100.000 liters.
