For its new Scorch edition, Ardbeg draws on a legend that a dragon occupies warehouse 3 of the distillery and releases a hot blast of scorching, charred flavours.

Thus, this Single Malt benefited from maturation in toasted Bourbon barrels, which were charred until their near destruction, to offer a perfectly balanced aromatic palette combining Ardbeg peat with notes of charred oak, heather, sage and pine fire. Bold notes of leather, grilled meats and black liquorice balanced by the sweet smoke.

This new edition is illustrated in a 'heroic fantasy' universe where we find a dragon, Geoffroy of the White Hand (a knight linked to the founder of Ardbeg) and Shortie, the mascot of the house.
