Ailsa Bay 1.2 Sweet Smoke 70cl 48.9° + glass
Ailsa Bay 1.2 Sweet Smoke is a peated Single Malt whisky from one of the most technologically advanced distilleries in the world.
Through this technology, the distillery invented a unique unit of measurement, the Sweet Parts per Million, to precisely control the balance between peat and sweet.
Distilled at 019 Sweet PPM and 022 Peat PPM, then micro matured in Hudson Baby Bourbon barrels, this Single Malt is the perfect combination between the smoky flavours of peat and the sweetness of vanilla and woody notes.
This set also includes a hexagonal glass, inspired by advanced distillation.
Ailsa Bay can be enjoyed neat, on ice or in a cocktail.

The Ailsa Bay distillery was founded in 2007 on the Girvan site, in the Lowlands region. The name Ailsa Bay is inspired by an island off Girvan, Ailsa Craig.
Ailsa Bay innovates on the technical means to distil with know-how and measure with precision.
It is also the only distillery to use a process called "micro maturation" to produce its whisky. The distillate is poured into baby Bourbon Hudson barrels with a capacity of 25 to 100 litres, for six to nine months. The relatively small barrels increase the contact of the distillate with the wood and thus produce rapid and intense maturation. The liquid is then transferred to virgin American oak barrels. This process is the first of its kind in the world of Scotch whisky.
