Isautier Louis & Charles 70cl 45°
Under the reign of the King of France Louis Philippe 1er, Louis and Charles Isautier crossed the oceans from the metropolis to settle in Reunion. They are fascinated by the island and its treasure: sugar cane.
The Isautier house is today the oldest distillery on Reunion Island still in operation. A family brand from 1845 that bottles the authenticity of the territory.
Perfectly balanced, old Isautier rums reflect a unique style: fresh, fruity, finely wooded, with notes of sea spray. The rums are distilled in columns and aged in a cellar, in French oak barrels specially designed for Maison Isautier for a minimum of three years. Cold filtration helps maintain all the qualities of their rums.
This rum pays tribute to the audacity of the two brothers, Louis and Charles Isautier. Balanced, rich, subtly woody, this is a delicate and sensual rum with an explosive finish.
