This rum bears the name of Alfred Isautier, who was at the origin of the legendary triangular bottle of the Isautier house and who greatly contributed to the modernization of the distillery.
This old rum made from molasses was distilled in a column in 2005 before being aged in new oak barrels for 8 to 14 months and then in fine-grained red barrels from the House's cellar located in Saint-Pierre de la Réunion. A worthy representative of the richness and elegance of the Reunionese terroir and of the Isautier style, it is distinguished by its fine balance between fruity and woody notes.
