New Barbancourt 8 Years Old 70cl 43°
Distillery : Barbancourt / Country : Haïti / Reference: : 25859

An old pure cane juice rum aged 8 years, brilliant with coppery reflections.

To produce this rum, Madame Mevse cane, a hybrid sugar cane typical of Haiti, is used. The rum is then distilled in a double column still before ageing for 8 years in French oak barrels. Inspired by the Cognac method, Barbancourt rums will undergo a passage in barrels
new, in red barrels and in old barrels.

The very spicy nose with notes of cinnamon offers beautiful maturity and the aeration allows the rum to open up with spices such as curry and black pepper.
