Ron Quorhum 15 Solera 70cl 40°
This 15 Solera Quorum rum is the result of the know-how of the Oliver & Oliver company, a rum factory that went into exile in the Dominican Republic after the Castro revolution in Cuba.
Unique, this rum comes from the assembly of rum from distillation in both column stills but also in pot still where 30% of its juice has been distilled. This unique blend with the Dominican name "Rones de Malta" brings an aromatic richness and an unctuous texture to this expression.
Assembled according to the Solera technique, this rum in Spanish style (from molasses) is aged in French and American oak barrels. Successive wetting allows the oldest rum to “educate” the youngest, passing on some of their flavours and intensities.
The oldest rum used in the blending of this vintage reached up to 15 years of aging.

Quorhum is a fusion between both Cuban and Dominican cultures, which happened when the rum company founded in Cuba by Juanillo Oliver was relocated in Dominican Republic to become Oliver & Oliver.
From this blend was born Quorhum. Distilled in column stills and aged in a Solera, Quorhum has matured in American, French and Bourbon casks, to become the light and fragrant rum it is today.
