Yamazakura Peated Blended 70cl 46°
This bottling is the peated version of the Yamazakura Blended, with a higher percentage of Asaka malt.
With its 50 ppm*, notes of peaty malt mingle with the fruity flavours of citrus and those sweeter of caramel brought by the three years of ageing in Bourbon and Sherry barrels.
Without colouring or chill filtration.
*PPM - parts per million - of phenolic compounds, measures the impact of oily peat smoke that settles on sprouted barley as it dries. The longer this time, the higher the ppm value. An already well peated Islay whiskey is around 40-50ppm. But let's never forget the particularities of each distillery in terms of the taste of the whisky in the mouth.
