Speymalt from Macallan Distilled 2004 Sherry Hogshead is an outstanding single malt independently bottled by Gordon & MacPhail as part of its renowned Speymalt range. Distilled at Macallan Distillery in 2004, it has been fully matured in a carefully selected single sherry hogshead. Bottled at its natural cask strength of 58.9% ABV, non-chill filtered and with natural colour, it showcases an authentic expression of Macallan's rich and elegant house style. This release perfectly balances the fruity spirit with the refined influence of sherry oak, creating a whisky of remarkable depth and complexity.

The nose reveals rich aromas of raisins, dates, figs, orange marmalade and dark chocolate, supported by honey, cinnamon, roasted nuts and mature oak. The palate is full-bodied and powerful with flavours of candied fruits, caramel, cocoa, espresso, leather and gentle spices. The finish is exceptionally long and refined with lingering dried fruits, dark chocolate, polished oak and warming spices.
