Hampden 7 Year Old 2016 OWH Habitation Velier is an outstanding Jamaican rum bottled by Habitation Velier, renowned for showcasing exceptional distillates. Distilled in 2016 at the legendary Hampden Estate, it spent seven years ageing entirely in Jamaica in ex-bourbon casks before being bottled at its natural cask strength of 60% ABV. Produced from the famous OWH marque, it features the distillery's lowest ester range, combining Hampden's unmistakable character with impressive elegance. No sugar, colouring or chill filtration is used.
The nose offers ripe banana, pineapple, cane sugar, rubber, camphor and spice. The palate is rich, oily and powerful with honey, toffee, tropical fruit, coriander and oak. The finish is exceptionally long and complex with melon, apricot, coconut, mint and the unmistakable signature of traditional Jamaican rum.

Appearance
Deep old gold with amber highlights.
Nose
Highly aromatic with ripe banana, pineapple, cane sugar, rubber, camphor, honey and exotic fruit.
Palate
Rich and oily with flavours of toffee, honey, coriander, flambéed banana, coconut, oak and warming spices.
Finish
Exceptionally long and complex with melon, apricot, mint, floral notes, spices and a lingering Jamaican character.
