Originally from Peru, Millonario XO is produced in a century-old distillery and gained international recognition in 2008-2009 thanks to several prestigious awards .
Produced from molasses from sugar cane grown on volcanic soil, this rum is distilled in old Scottish column stills, giving it structure and finesse.
It is then aged in American oak casks that previously contained Bourbon and Sherry, using the traditional Solera method. This blend combines rums aged between 12 and 20 years, offering richness, smoothness and complexity.
Harmonious and generous, Millonario XO is best enjoyed neat and pairs particularly well with mild cigars.
