This single malt has been aged for ten years, the last two in virgin Mizunara casks from the island of Hokkaido in Japan, giving this whisky a unique aromatic profile.
This whisky, bottled at 48% without chill filtration or coloring, highlights the interplay between Big Peat's robust character and the subtle nuances of Mizunara oak, paying homage to the Scottish and Japanese traditions of whisky maturation.
