John Glaser, Master Blender, has created a blend that artfully combines peat and Sherry, slowly evolving onto peaty flavours.

A whisky with bitter maltness and peat smoke, with a trail of liquorice. Fruity notes of citrus, dried fruits and candied fruits, spices (juniper berries, cloves) and heady flowers (broom shrub and mimosa).

Compass Box elaborated King Street Glasgow Blend with a combination of 33% Single grain, distillated in the Fife region (Lowlands), and Single Malts from Islay (20%), Highlands (14%) and Speyside (33%). Subtle and elegant, this peaty whisky has been blended in selected first fill and refill Bourbon barrels, first fill Sherry casks and refined in French oak casks, to put the finishing touches to its maturation.
