Compass Box Crimson Casks is a premium Scotch blended malt celebrating the rich influence of sherry cask maturation. Crafted by Compass Box, renowned for its innovative blending philosophy, it combines carefully selected single malts matured predominantly in first fill sherry casks. The result is a whisky of remarkable richness, depth and elegance.
The nose opens with aromas of black cherry, plum, raisins and candied orange layered with dark chocolate, cinnamon and seasoned oak. The palate is smooth and full bodied with flavours of red berries, caramel, cocoa, roasted nuts and gentle spices wrapped in rich sherry oak. The finish is long, warming and beautifully balanced with lingering dried fruit, chocolate and sweet spice. It is an outstanding choice for lovers of richly sherried Scotch whisky.
