Cutty Sark Prohibition is a nod to the famous prohibition period when alcohol consumption was banned in the United States. This expression also pays tribute to William McCoy who smuggled Cutty Sark from Scotland during the 1920s.

This whisky is a powerful blend at 50°. It is produced in Small Batch before being placed in oak barrels for aging. It is a balanced and easy whisky that is perfect for cocktails with notes of vanilla and citrus.

The name of the brand comes from the Cutty Sark clipper, it owes its name to a witch in the poem of Robert Burns named "Tam o'Shanter". Since then, a competition involving tall ships has been created in his honor.
