Aberfeldy 16 Years Old 70cl 40°
The Aberfeldy 16 Year Old is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky, matured for sixteen years and finished in Oloroso sherry casks, which lend it a wonderfully rich and refined character.
Its deep golden hue invites the nose to discover aromas of heather honey, citrus peel, dried fruits, and a gentle oak presence. On the palate, it is smooth and layered, revealing ripe orchard fruits, sweet spices, toasty oak, and a lingering finish with hints of fig, cocoa, and raisins.
A perfect balance of mellow sweetness and sherried complexity, this 16-year-old malt is ideal for those looking to explore the elegant side of the Highlands with a whisky that is both approachable and rewarding.

The Aberfeldy distillery is located in the southern part of the Highlands (Perthshire).
Aberfeldy was founded in 1898 by the Dewar family, and is located in the Highland region. The distillery uses water from Pitilie Burn which is famous for its alluvial gold deposits.
Aberfeldy proceeds to a long fermentation of 70 hours allowing a greater development of the aromas, in particular that of honey. In addition, the use of large copper stills with their specific heights and shapes gives the whiskey its delicate and elegant character.
The Aberfeldy whiskey is very firm and reveals ample notes of cereals and fruit. This is the most potent of the Central Highlands malts.
