Founded in 1842, William Cadenhead Limited belonged to the same family until it was taken over by the famous Campbeltown Company in 1972, which owned the Springbank Distillery in Aberdeen, Scotland.

Originally a small grocery store, the company is today one of the most famous independent whisky bottlers.

Cadenhead relies on the high quality of the whisky through a careful selection of the casks among the thousands at their disposal. This wide variety of Scottish distillery casks allows them to bottle very beautiful expressions of age, type of cask and different style.

Nose: generous and fruity with aromas of fruit cake and honey with a touch of budding gorce.

Palate: complex, the fruity orange and alcohol soaked sultanas mingle with the warm flavours of chocolate and nuts.

Finish: Sweet, composed with salty caramel and notes of slightly hoppy stewed apples.
