This 5-year-old rum turns out to be robust, very aromatic and spicy. It's ageing in Sherry Oloroso barrels allows it to retain its sweetness and roundness, with notes of raisins.

Rum Nation is a brand of rums founded by Fabio Rossi, a former Italian oenologist. The latter began his career in the spirits business with Scotch Single Malt whiskies before later turning to rum.
It was in 1999 that Fabio Rossi founded Rum Nation in order to share the spirit of the Caribbean and Latin America through the different traditions of the production of rums, rons and rums according to their country of origin.
Rum Nation is based in Italy, but Fabio Rossi rigorously tests and buys its rums directly from distilleries in Latin America and the Caribbean. Each negotiated rum is thus a reflection of its geographical origin and the historical know-how of its distillery.
