Scapa 16 Years 70cl 48°
The Scapa distillery is located on the main island of the Orkney archipelago on the north coast of Scotland. It is one of Scotland's most northerly distilleries.
Scapa 16 Year Old is at the heart of the Scapa single malt collection, its warm spicy notes blending harmoniously with fruity aromas.
Fermentation time is one of the longest in Scotch whisky: 160 hours, or almost 7 days. This gives the single malt a fruity character that is quite unique for an island malt.
Unlike other island distilleries, no peat is used to dry the malt, allowing Scapa's sweet, tropical flavors to shine through.
Scapa whiskies are distilled using a single pair of stills - one of which is a Lomond still. Installed in 1959, it is one of the last stills in use.

The legendary Scapa distillery is located near the Scapa Flow, one of the biggest natural harbour in the world.
One of the most historical bodies of waters of Scotland – Scapa Flow – is located in the Orkney Archipelago, off the Scottish North Coast. The peaceful waters of the Scapa Flow make it a natural, well-protected harbour for seamen and ships through ages.
Hard to reach, closed from 1994 to 2000, this distillery is maybe the most traditional one in all Scotland, and was part of the “Magnificient 7”, the malts entering the composition of the famous Ballantine’s blend. Resulting from a unique craft production, Scapa whisky is produced from a Lomond wash still, which accounts for its velvety and delicate body. Only five men, together with the Master Distiller, are working at the distillery and make Scapa a rare, iconic Single Malt fascinating whisky lovers worldwide!
Scapa has been part of the Pernod-Ricard group since 2005.
Scapa 10 Year Old is marked by subtle notes of fresh tropical fruit, perfectly reflecting the character of Scapa single malts.
