The Lakes Whiskymaker’s Reserve No.7 is an English Single Malt Whisky produced by The Lakes Distillery in the Lake District. The seventh release marks the conclusion of the Whiskymaker’s Reserve series, built around a house style strongly influenced by sherry maturation.
The whisky is matured in a selection of Oloroso sherry, Pedro Ximénez sherry and red wine casks. These casks, made from both Spanish and American oak, contribute to the structure and character of the expression.
Bottled at 52% ABV, without chill filtration and without added colouring, No.7 retains its natural colour. This release represents a distinctive example of The Lakes approach to maturation and cask selection.

Nose: Fragrant and elegant, with ripe orchard fruits, almond and sandalwood. Gentle baking spices add warmth and depth.
Palate: Rich, full and creamy, combining honeyed fruits and red berries with dark chocolate, almond and dried fruit notes. A gentle spiced warmth develops throughout.
Finish: Long, creamy and warming, with soft spices, cocoa and lingering fruity flavours.
