Glenfiddich Orchard Experiment 70cl 43°
Reference: 25127
A whisky born from an unprecedented marriage between two prestigious companies, Glenfiddich and Temperley, and refined in ex-barrels of Somerset Pomona.
This whisky was born from an unprecedented marriage between two prestigious companies, Glenfiddich and Temperley, the family that produces Somerset Pomona, a liqueur resulting from a secret blend of apple juice and cider brandy.
It was after meeting Matilda Temperley, master distiller of the Somerset Cider Brandy Company, that Brian Kinsman, cellar master at Glenfiddich, decided to use old Somerset Pomona casks for ageing his whiskies. After two years in oak barrels, the whisky obtained is then refined for four months in these very special barrels.
An innovative and singular whisky in which all the fruity side of Glenfiddich whiskies is expressed.
